Dr. Andrea Necchi guest at the Oncology Seminar at Nerviano Medical Sciences

On Friday January 20th, at 1.30 PM, Dr. Andrea Necchi from the Department of Medicine, Medical Oncology 2 Unit, Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan will present an Oncology Seminar entitled “Targeting development of urothelial cancer”.

Andre Necchi graduated in Medicine with honors in 2004 at the University of Milan, and he subsequently obtained the specialization in Medical Oncology in the same University. In the 2002 he joined the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan as a Medical Student with Prof. Bajetta and he is currently Staff Physician in the Department of Medicine in the same Institute.

His research activities focus on the medical treatment of germ-cell tumors and other genitourinary malignancies, including novel drugs and experimental therapies. Dr. Necchi currently chairs several clinical trials in this field.

He is co-author of about 20 papers and in 2010 he won the “Young Researchers Award” of the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan and the “1st Gianni Bonadonna Prize for New Drug Development in Oncology” by the Michelangelo Foundation, Milan, in 2011.
