40 years of Heritage

The Nerviano R&D site was built in 1965 by Farmitalia.

Over the last ten years, following the merger of Pharmacia and Pfizer, Nerviano scientists have enjoyed a steadily increasing international exposure and interaction with colleagues from R&D and head companies throughout the world.

The company is characterised by a solid tradition of innovation and constant advances made in line with investments in state of the art technology platforms, instrumentation and information systems.

P&U merges with Monsanto/Searle under the name Pharmacia

Pharmacia and the Upjohn Company merge to become Pharmacia & Upjoh

Kabi- Pharmacia acquires Farmitalia-Carlo Erba giving rise to the Pharmacia group

Farmitalia and Carlo Erba merger
